Photographer/Artist Nancy Good and New Light Foto Design invite you to see the world in a new light ...
Each person sees things from unique perspectives ... usually in a new and different light than what others around us might see. Capturing that new light has always been the goal of Fine Art Photographer and Mixed-Media Artist Nancy Good. Her photos, digital, and mixed-media art seek to share visions of the world in this new light, illuminating not only the familiar and mundane, but bringing into sharp and often delicate focus the beautiful surprises that surround us.

Nancy has been juried into another show, this time, the City of Las Vegas 2013 Celebrating Life Fine Art Competition., with opening reception to be held Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Charleston Heights Art Center.
Nancy recently received the wonderful news that one of her ground-breaking (quite literally and symbolically) eARThen self-portraits has been juried into the New York-based Professional Women Photographers Spring 2013 International Call for Entry as an Honorable Mention winner (out of over 1300 submissions). She is thrilled, to say the least, as this series is very important to her as an ongoing study of how we (as women, as a community, as human beings) relate to the facade of commercially-marketed beauty trends and how we often spend a lifetime hiding our true beauty. September-December, 2013: Arts at the Airport,/Nashville International Airport, will feature 5-6 black & white images by Nancy for a 2-month exhibit.
July, 2013: Swanson Gallery in Helena, Montana, has invited Nancy to exhibit a collection of photography, digital art, and mixed-media pieces. Details to come.
July, 2013: Nancy has been invited to install a 2-month exhibit at the St. Mary's Retreat & Art Center in Virginia City, NV.
5.3.2013: Las Vegas' monthly art crawl, First Friday, will take place in the Downtown Arts District. A regular exhibitor, Nancy will have pieces on show (and for sale) at Theatre7. Nancy also continues to exhibit (and sell) pieces at The Gallery in Boulder City, NV.
5.2.2013: "Exquisite Corpse" exhibit at the Contemporary Arts Center, Las Vegas (CAC). Nancy is one of 20 artists invited to create artwork for this collaborative fundraising project. 4.26.2013: Artists for Autism Art Show, Cocktail Reception and 100-Art Guitar Auction will take place on this date from 7 - 11 pm at the Lou Ruvo Brain Center in Symphony Park, Downtown Las Vegas. Nancy was one of 100 artists invited to participate in creating a one-of-a-kind "Art Guitar" specifically for this auction. More details about her 200-hour heART project can be found here, including photos of the work-in-progress and her artist's statement.
4.5.2013: Nancy exhibits again at Theatre7 for First Friday, Las Vegas' monthly art crawl.
January, 2013: Nancy has another photo published in Nevada Magazine's Jan/Feb, 2013 Issue, as part of their feature on sunrises/sunsets. See photo below.
January-March, 2013: The Tecopa Artists Group is presently hosting a group show at Tecopa Hot Springs Resort (California). Nancy joins a talented group of artists for this 2-month exhibit.
